Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is often referred to in Chicago Illinois started to gain attention once he released tracks on YouTube. He first released tracks like the Come Up and Never Cared as well as made his debut appearance on SoundCloud with the mixtape OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUNDCLOUD. Gang With Me, his debut single, was then followed by the hit track Finer things. He wrote the latter while in prison.
